Lake District and Cumbria places to eat and drink

Pubs and Restaurants in the Lake District

We also recommend the following link for a wider selection of things to do and see in Cumbria and the Lakes Eating and Drinking in Cumbria, The Lake District.

Cumbria and the Lake District is currently branding itself as the “Taste District”. Whilst it is still well known for its old time favourites of Cumberland Sausage and sticky toffee pudding (both highly recommended!) there are now a range of great places to eat across the region, with something to suit all tastes and palates.

We have selected our favourite top 10 (in no particular order) Lake District places to eat - purely subjective but all worth a visit! Please click the highlighted link for more information on each of these restaurants and pubs in Cumbria.

We are always looking to improve the information we have on Lake District places to eat and drink. If you would like to recommend or advertise your Lake District or Cumbrian pub or restaurant, please contact us. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of this information, please note our terms of use.
