We’re based in Patterdale, by Ullswater in the Lake District. The cliché on the weather here is if you can see Place Fell then it’s about to rain and if you can’t it is raining. To be fair when it rains it does a proper job but when the sun shines it’s truly stunning! Anyway you’ll see a range of great sites with information and forecasts on waether in the Lake District, including the invaluable Mountain Weather Information Service forecast. Take care and have fun! You can also follow us on Twitter to see the latest conditions and updates from the Patterdale, Ullswater and Helvellyn area. Click here to see Helvellyn on Twitter.
If you have a good online source of Lake District and Cumbrian weather that would be of benefit to your fellow walkers and holiday makers please contact us. In the meantime take a look below or click on one of the links to the right for the Lake District National Park weather line, the Met Office Lake District Mountain Weather Forecast, the Mountain Weather Information Service (invaluable if you’re heading up high), the BBC Weather Forecast, Cumbria Weather on Twitter, Patterdale Weather, Ullswater Weather and Helvellyn Weather.
